This book was recently published by Roza El-Yousef Express in nine chapters; Cairo 2001; “
The first chapter is an introduction about acoustics; the second categorizes musical instruments
into four groups; the third deals with the family of string musical instruments,
the fourth chapter talks about the harp, and the fifth deals with the theory of wind instruments;
the sixth descries and classifies the four kinds of wood winds; the seventh focuses on
brass instruments and the eight the different types of percussion instruments.
The last chapter is about the vocabulary of music orchestration such as tone color, dynamics
and sound balance in the writing of orchestration booklet.
